Zone Conference

Hey, y'all! This week was pretty good! I'll just start talking about it! 

Last Tuesday we got a new car! It's a 2020 black Nissan Rogue. It's a rental while some other cars in the mission are getting fixed. So that's pretty cool. We'll have it for a few months while they wait to get us a new car to replace our "old" 2017 Rav4. 

Zone Conference

We had zone conference on Friday, and it was the last conference with President and Sister Hales. It was really neat, even though I've only been here three weeks I can tell that they are absolutely beloved by the missionaries here. 

Andrew accepted a baptismal date!!! On Saturday we met with him at the church and had a great lesson about the Plan of Salvation. And he says that he just knows what we're teaching him is true and that he wants to get baptized on July 25th. So if you could keep him in your prayers that would be great, he's had a bit of opposition in his life right now and can use the prayers. 

We're not finding a lot of people to teach right now, which isn't fun. So if any of you have any ideas of Facebook videos we could make or ways to reach out to people we would love to hear from you!

Spiritual thought for the week: I've been studying a lot about the Plan of Salvation, and I've come to remember that God didn't send us down to earth so we could have an easy. That would have been what would have happened if Satan had been our "savior". Instead, we are here to grow and learn, and we can't do that unless we have tough experiences- like living through a pandemic.
