No one reads the subject line, right?

Ok, now it's week 2 in Texas! And believe it or not, it was a lot like week 1!

Ok, kinda not really. We've had a lot of good things happen in our area, but every day kind of feels the same- probably how a lot of you are feeling during quarantine.

For starters, we met Andrew on Saturday! He came to the Church for a quick meeting, and we gave him a Book of Mormon. He seemed really excited to read it! We've been calling him about every other day, and he's been really accepting of what we've been teaching. (So if you could keep him in your prayers, that would be appreciated.)

We've also managed to contact Veronica, who the missionaries visited about 10 years ago. We've called and talked a few times, so it'll be interesting to see how that goes!

Church is starting up next week! We'll be able to have less than fifty people at the meeting, but that will be awesome for the families who don't have the priesthood in their home to come and partake of the sacrament as a ward.

It's been so awesome to be in this ward! All of the members I've met have been super awesome and want to help us share the gospel. They've been willing to share our Facebook posts with friends who might need it. It's been so awesome!

We also have an online Institute class for missionaries that we've been attending, so that's been cool. The instructor is really awesome, and a lot of the time when a missionary has a question he'll tell them to look it up and find the answer for themselves- which is what I love from a teacher! It's so much more rewarding to find the answer for yourself rather than having it handed to you.

So that's kinda my week! Plainview has been really chill as far as Coronavirus cases go, so things have been opening up a bit. Still can't go outside and proselyte, but that might change soon (maybe). Oh, and I don't know if we'll be able to go out with no tie/a blue shirt. That would be cool, but we'll see if it happens. We have Zone Conference this Friday, so I figure we'll probably hear something then.

Thanks everybody! Y'all are great, keep up being awesome! Don't let life get you down, just continue looking toward Christ. D&C 6:36!

Have a great week!

Also check out my Facebook to see a cool video of me playing the piano! Feel free to share it with your friends!
