When four just wasn't enough...

All right, so now we have 5 elders in Plainview, and Elder Perez and I are in a trio with the new elder, Elder Erickson. He's awesome, he's from Wyoming and was originally going to Canada. But now he's here until all that opens up. We're super excited to have him here, he's definitely a hard worker!
Missionary work! All right, so it happens! Phone book calls, Facebook finding, and that's it. Oh, and disc golf. Elder Erickson is a beast already, so I'm going to have to up my game- otherwise he's going to beat me on his second week!
Andrew and Brittany are both progressing well. We had lessons with them this week, and we're hoping they can get baptized next month. That would be so cool!
Spiritual thought comes from Mosiah 2:41. Notice how it says "happy and blessed state". I truly believe that someone can be happy in any situation they are in. Ponder that this week, along with this quote from Elder Bednar: "You and I cannot control the intentions or behavior of other people. However, we do determine how we will act. Please remember that you and I are agents endowed with moral agency, and we can choose not to be offended."
Have a great week!
Elder Jonathan Barrus
