Half PDay

December 7, 2019

Hola amigos! Como estan? Estoy muy bien!

And that's the extent of my Spanish x) I'm only (mostly) kidding. The teachers are fantastic here! My teachers are Hermana Cruz in the morning and Hermano Rueda in the afternoon. They are very good at making sure we understand what they are saying, even when they speak totally in Spanish. I am SO GLAD I took Spanish in school before I came here to the CCM (that stands for Centro De CapacitaciĆ³n Misional, that's MTC in Spanish). Even though it's been literally five years since my last class, I can feel it slowly coming back.

My flight down here was good! I flew from Salt Lake down to Dallas, and then from Dallas down to Mexico City. We then took a bus from the airport to the CCM. All in all, my flight left SLC at 5:30 in the morning, and we didn't get to the CCM until about three pm. It was a long day, but we finally made it! And we had Costco pizza for dinner! Every Tuesday is Costco pizza day!

Everyone here is so wonderful! I thought that I would be speaking Spanish all the time, but my district is all from the US, so we try to speak Spanish outside of class, but most of it happens in class. And my district is the bomb! I don't have any pictures because technically today is like a half P Day, but I'll send some on my real P-day, next Wednesday.

I love you all! Thanks for all of your help in getting me out on a mission, it really means a lot to me! Talk to you more next Wednesday!
